What is a student brand ambassador?

As a Brand Ambassador, you are responsible for representing your employer’s brand at university. Through posting on social media and organising events on campus, you will promote their brand and career opportunities to your fellow students.

Do brand ambassadors get paid?

At On-Campus Promotions we pay our brand ambassadors £13 per hour, which is one of the highest brand ambassador salaries in the UK.

Some of our roles pay up to £16 per hour, plus we provide generous bonuses for hitting key targets. For example, you could get a £10 bonus for hitting your target of 20 event sign ups - that’s 50p per signup!

How do I become a brand ambassador?

To become a brand ambassador, the only requirement is that you are a current university student. However, some skills that are good to have include: social media skills, communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

How do I get paid as a brand ambassador?

Once you’ve started working as a brand ambassador, you submit timesheets every month through our online portal. Your pay is then transferred straight into your UK bank account. It’s that simple!

What type of activities will I be doing as part of the brand ambassador role?

Each brand ambassador role is different. Typical activities include:

• Social media activity (typically includes promoting career opportunities, events and competitions)

• Lead generation (attracting students to sign up to the client’s mailing list)

• Event organisation (on-campus and online events, either individually or as part of a team)

Remember that every brand ambassador receives fully-paid training from the On-Campus Promotions team before starting their role.

Can I work on more than one campaign?

If you apply to become a Brand Ambassador for multiple employers, you can work on up to three campaigns at the same time.

If you apply to become a Brand Ambassador for a single employer, you will exclusively represent one employer until the end of your campaign.
