THE OBJECTIVE

We worked with a global law firm to promote their brand on campus and drive applications from quality candidates, with a view to hiring the best Brand Ambassadors onto their insights programme and vacation scheme.

HOW?

A team of 23 Brand Ambassadors at the Law Firm’s target universities worked on:

  • Capturing the data of prospective candidates

  • Encouraging high calibre students to attend events such as skills events, employer presentations and commercial awareness workshops

 

RESULTS

In 2017, Brand Ambassadors were their best source of hires, delivering the following results:

  • Ambassadors sourced 30 hires through meeting students directly through their networks

  • 13 of the 23 Brand Ambassadors were hired directly by the Law Firm

  • 63 hires came directly from events the Brand Ambassadors were promoting

 

 

CASE STUDY: A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES EMPLOYER

At universities with a Brand Ambassador, applications increased by 78%, compared with 31% across all universities (11% at non Brand Ambassador universities)

 

CASE STUDY: A TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE EMPLOYER

The overall increase in applications at universities with Brand Ambassadors was 48%. This is compared to an average increase of just 18% at universities last year who didn’t have Brand Ambassadors, an increase of 30%! This shows the power and influence of peer to peer engagement.

5 Brand Ambassadors pre-registered 180 students to their Guide to Assessment Days and Interviews Webinar across 3 weeks of digital promotion, an excellent result!

 

CASE STUDY: A MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY

75 Brand Ambassadors got over 4,800 students to pre-register to the employer’s evening networking events. Held at 21 universities across the country, 2,118 students attended (an average 100 per event!)
