Are you up to the Kit Kat Challenge?!
What was it?
The idea is simple enough, you have 1 minute, 20 Kit Kats you have to build the highest tower at a careers fair stand. Warning though, logical brain and steady hand required to get you into the Nestlé Kit Kat challenge grand final.
Where did it happen?
On the stands of 12 Science & Engineering careers fairs across the UK from Bournemouth to Newcastle; that is a lot of Kit Kats.
Who was targeted?
Pretty much everyone was interested in the challenge (or at least the free Kit Kats) however the main focus was raising awareness of Nestlé to science, maths & engineering students.
What was the result?
The challenge had a huge reach with 800 students taking part over the 12 fairs, at some points people were crowded 5 deep around the stand. The Kit Kat challenge was more than just a branding exercise though, 16% of Nestlé’s total candidates said they came through the challenge…
